GETTING INVOLVED
SURF LIFESAVING DEL SUR
Surf Lifesaving del Sur has laid the initial foundation for effective lifesaving in Los Cabos, but our goals as a non-profit organization will not be reached without corporate donations and the generous contributions of individuals.
Donations received directly fund the training and equipping of lifeguards, staffing and patrolling of beaches, as well as public information and education in the Los Cabos and Mexico beach areas.
As a 100% volunteer based non-profit, we rely heavily on support from our community to further our mission. Our Team welcomes others to join our efforts.
There are numerous opportunities for individuals, organizations and businesses to join our cause from monetary donations, to hosting fundraisers or emergency equipment drives to volunteering on-site at training events or donating airline miles.

Volunteer Trainers
We welcome qualified lifesaving trainers to join us at our next academy.
Volunteer Trainers pay their expenses to each locale.
A detailed CV or resume with a list of all certifications and qualifications must be submitted no-less than 30-days prior to a training academy.

Are you interested in hosting a fundraiser to benefit the Surf Lifesaving del Sur activities, contact our Team to submit your plan.
Collection Drives
Are you interested in hosting a collection drive at your next event or business ?We are always in need of new and used rescue equipment to distribute to students and rescue teams. From fins, rescue cans & buoys to wave runners, small boats, trailers and other rescue items.
Monetary Donations
We rely heavily on support from our community to further our mission.
All monetary donations go to support Lifeguard Academies and rescue equipment for First Responders.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals.
Airline Miles Donations
All our Volunteer Trainers and Team donate their time and talents to assist in the multi-day training program. Their knowledge and skills are essential to hosting a successful, safe and well-trained class.
We try to minimize the hard costs associated with travel and accommodations thus your airline miles to cover some of these expenses will go a long way in insuring we recruit top talent to assist with the academies.
